The world’s largest travel website TripAdvisor has awarded SoCo Creamery its Certificate of Excellence!
“Best ice cream around! Fresh and locally made, always new flavors plus the staples you love,” one TripAdvisor® commentator wrote.
“What makes this special is the award comes from our customers,” says SoCo CEO Erik Bruun. “You see the changes we’ve made and you are telling the world about it.”
Outstanding features of our SoCo Scoop Shop include:
- All of our ice creams are made from scratch and with all-natural ingredients in our own kitchen.
- All SoCo scoopers complete our one-of-a-kind Ice Cream 101 course to give our customers all of the information they need.
- A new and improved renovation that makes the store a fun and easy experience in an old-fashioned ice cream store.
“Our goal is to have happy customers,” Erik says. “This is a great affirmation of what we see in the store every day.”
The award comes on the heels of MassLive selecting SoCo as the best ice cream store in central and western Massachusetts.
“Everything here is made completely from scratch, including their rich ice cream base. I’m a fan that cheap sweeteners and carrageenan are missing from their recipes,” said judge Sarah Plantanitis.
“With the Certificate of Excellence, TripAdvisor® honors hospitality businesses that have consistently received strong praise and ratings from travelers,” said Heather Leisman, Vice President of Industry Marketing, TripAdvisor®. “This recognition helps travelers identify and book properties that regularly deliver great service. TripAdvisor is proud to play this integral role in helping travelers feel more confident in their booking decisions,” Leisman continues.
The Certificate of Excellence accounts for the quality, quantity and recency of reviews submitted by travelers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.
A big “thank you” to all of you who made this possible!
